Holiday's over..

We won't be getting another public holiday in quite a few months. Anzac holiday just finished and it's back to school/ work/ uni for most of us..

I just had the best coffee- from the usual place I get coffee from at QVB, but the temperature of this one was perfect. It's annoying when people make it too hot. I've tried some horrible coffee where there was a plastic taste to it- so hot it melted the cup.

Presentation later! I'm feeling awake for it, yay.

Finished my presentation! Now I just have two more essays to go, yay... =_= though that's not really anything to celebrate, because each essay is about 3500 words... ok, it won't seem much for those PhD students who need to write long papers, but I'm only used to writing 2000 words. Anyhow, enough about uni, it's long weekend! Kind of sad because these public holidays really don't mean much to me. Still going to work, still going to uni, still doing the same things while everyone else celebrates, or go for a weekend trip.

Still, can't complain. Currently, I should be thinking on what to do with my Sunday School kids tomorrow, but digressing with a blog entry. Croutons are baking in the oven, so I better not forget about that.

This week has been pretty productive- workwise. Haven't been to many places to eat as a result, so this entry will be quite a sad one.

"Take a step forward and... jump to the right!"

Been busy with uni lately (it's Not an excuse anymore, I'm quite screwed for it actually), but I still have been going out, just not updating this blog very much because -and all people who own blogs and type proper entries with photos will know- blog entries are so time consuming.

I actually ended up going to the Easter show. Not because my sister's wedding isn't important- it is, but because Easter show was going to finish soon and there wouldn't be another chance to go with my friends till.. well, maybe next year. Plus, my sister said there was plenty of time to get a venue, so~ =D

Torn between two decisions for where to go tomorrow. Easter show with tt and an opportunity to meet up with friends I haven't seen in months, or searching for venues to hold my sister's wedding... I guess it's the perfect opportunity for my brother to remind me that blood is thicker than water, but on the other hand, neglecting friends for months isn't good either.

Have a feeling I'd be going to take photos of wedding venues afterall. =|

While soup is cooking in the magic cooker for dinner tonight, I shall write about Chinta Ria =D Located in Darling Harbour, we stumbled upon it by accident while walking around. I've read about it on eatability before, and it received quite a good rating overall, but I never really knew where it was. Found it, and decided to come back when it was open.

Not sick anymore! Well, kind of. Slight cough, but nothing major. Went through almost two bottles of Dimetapp =( Been mobile blogging because it's actually a pretty good time waster. Considering how it's actually difficult to type a blog entry using the "older generation" of mobile phone, ie, not the qwerty keyboard type like blackberry, or the touch screen qwerty pad like the iphone, I get heaps of typos, mainly with "in" turning into "go".... but anyway! This is done on computer, so a proper entry~!

Starting from ages ago, I think this was two weeks ago, more Azuma cakes! New autumn selections.

Healthy!

My latest craze, avocado dip. Actually, avocado in general, but I prefer dips because of its convenience. Mini toast with the dip or guacomole, and there's a healthy meal or snack.

Rating for instant udon- Japanese one was good, korean one slightly too salty. I'm abit lazy with the preparations too, so with all the pouring out of water, adding more water before adding condiments and then waiting again.. That's more than 1 step! Still, I suppose it's healthier than other 1-step instant noodles, so that's ok.

2 hours more before end of work!

Morning! As promised, a food entry~ it's actually an improvement from all the other food I've been having at uni, mainly pork floss sandwiches.

There are two typesof instant udon. One is korean and the other is from Japan. Yet to try any, it's not lunch time yet, but being biased, I'm fairly certain which will be better already. Who knows, they might end up being about the same. Most instant noodles do..

Maybe I'll start rating every kind of instant noodles I can get my hands on for uni each week, considering how bad the food on campus is, not to mention appalling service. Someone in Japan has a blog with over hundreds of instant noodles reviewed, it's a surprise he's still alive.

Will come back next time with a rating! (Haha, dodgey "food" entry, but just wait till I try a new restaurant.. Hopefully this week, sometime.)

No update?

I think I shall go back to mobile blogging for a while. Not only have I been sick and busy with uni, there hasn't been any new restaurants that sound nice enough to try.

Any recommendations, anyone? >< actually, I really should just save up. Hoping to go to Japan end of this year, but also to Singapore at the beginning of next year for my sister's wedding! =D Seems like a lot of people are getting married recently, but at least none of my high school friends are yet. ^^"

This actually feels like twitter in that it's short and sweet. Uni about to start and harmonising melodies haunted me in my dreams last night. Quick coffee before a super long day..

There won't be a proper update till possibly Thursday..
